BC SENSITIVE ECOSYSTEM INVENTORY (SEI) SERIES browse sample
The Sensitive Ecosystem Inventory (SEI) Project was a joint Canadian Federal- Provincial
BC government initiative to collect and map endangered ecosystems on the east side
of Vancouver Island.
The climate and long growing season support many rare plants, animals, and plant
communities; however, the region also endures intense development pressures, which
have resulted in the fragmentation or loss of many natural ecosystems. The SEI identifies
the remnants of rare and fragile terrestrial ecosystems.

BC 1:50,000 TOPOGRAPHIC SERIES browse sample
This BC Topographic Limited Series uses the most accurate and current provincial data. The series shows much of the same information as the 1:20,000 series but covers a larger area. These Maps are well suited for situations where a larger coverage area is required and small details are not. The maps are modeled after the National NTS series but contain more current data.

GEOLOGY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA 2005 MAP browse
The full-colour geology of the entire Province of BC incorporates geoscience
